Without
question one of the most requested boat from Folbot. The Cooper
is totally new from the inside out. She will challenge the most
folding boats in the world for ease of assembly, ease of handling,
and speed on the water. With a revolutionary skin tensioning system,
the entire frame snaps together outside of the skin, making assembly
a breeze. Zippered decks assure easy access to gear. The Cooper
will accomodate paddlers of all heights because of multiple frame
positions used at set up. Tracking is superb and stability exceptional
for a boat of the Cooper's beam, although she can be rolled by
the experienced paddler. Designed for oceans, lakes and flat water
rivers, all materials are corrosion-proof and can be expected
to give years of trouble-free performance. The Cooper's hull is
made of hypalon and is quite durable. She comes packed in one
bag, suit-case or backpack style, includes a paddle and standard
safety bladders.

Greenland
II. Paddle together.
A
fast, stable hull shape designed for two paddlers, the Greenland
II has enough room for a third small passenger. A very versatile
boat, it is at home on all bodies of water, from rivers to
the ocean. The high cockpit coaming and peaked decks are designed
to keep you safe and dry in the roughest conditions. There
is also plenty of beneath-deck storage space for longer expeditions.
The Greenland II paddles well solo from either seat, but a
solo-seating kit is available for use.
Tracking
is excellent in this Greenland II, but a foot rudder kit is
also available and recommended for ocean use. All materials
used in the construction of the Greenland II are non-rusting
and are selected so that the boat can be used in salt water
without harm. Set-up instructions are quite clear and, after
a time or two, set-up takes fewer than twenty minutes. Since
production of the Greenland II began in 1990, these boats
have seen duty throughout the world. One in particular has
logged over 2000 miles in the U.S. and Europe and is still
going strong. The Greenland II is shipped in two bags.

Aleut.
Bigger isn't always better.
A
perfect single-seater for day trips as well as expeditions, the
Aleut performs like a 15-footer but is quite manageable in every
way. Its high capacity-to-weight ratio, extreme stability, excellent
tracking and fast simple set-up time (10-15 minutes) make the
Aleut a true friend and traveling companion. It performs well
in the ocean as well as on flat water rivers and lakes. Constructed
of high quality and durable materials, you can expect many years
of service from the Aleut. Deck zippers are not used in this boat
because of the short decks, but construction is otherwise the
same as our Greenland II. All accessories are suitable for the
Aleut, depending on your intended usage. The Aleut can be shipped
in either one or two carrying bags; some prefer the convenience
of a single bag, others like the weight evenly divided. Either
way, the Aleut ships to your door unless you specify otherwise.
All boats are shipped with paddle and carrying bags and safety
bladders.

Kodiak.
The leaner and faster single-seater.
The
Kodiak is a quick and trimm model. While not quite as stable as
the Aleut and requiring about the same time to assemble as the
Greenland II, the Kodiak will more than satisfy the needs of those
paddlers looking for a medium-volume single with a healthy payload
that is able to take them on those extended cruises. Ample storage
space and sleek, trim lines are the highlight of this boat. The
Kodiak shares the same design and engineering features of our
proven Greenland II and Aleut and was built for increased speed.
It's another example of the quality and exceptional value you
have come to expect from Folbot in a light-weight, maneuverable
and fun package. Constructed of high quality and durable material,
you can expect many years of service from your Kodiak. The same
heavyduty YKK deck zippers used on our Greenland II are incorporated
in the Kodiak in a 1/2-zipper design to ease assembly and make
packing and unpacking gear simple and easy. As with the other
Folbots, standard equipment includes paddle, flotation bladders,
repair material and carrying bags. A full range of accessories
is available to complement your paddling needs. The Kodiak will
appeal to the intermediate to advanced paddler who is looking
for a medium-volume, fast and agile boat that tracks like an arrow.
The Kodiak ships to you in two bags.

Yukon.
For larger Paddler or lots of gear.
This
is another popular request model and has used all of the best
aspects of our Aleut but features a larger cockpit and additional
safe-weight capacity. The Yukon will accommodate a 6' 4",
250-pound paddler with ease, but the seat adjusts for the smaller
paddler with lots of gear, or an extended trip. Assembly is quick
because of its three-frame construction and the capacity-to-weight
ratio cannot be beaten. The Yukon tracks like a 16-foot boat and
both initial and secondary stability are amazing. Designed for
oceans, lakes and flat water rivers, all materials are the same
as our other models and can be expected to give years of trouble-free
performance. Like the Aleut, the fore and aft decks are short
enough to provide easy gear access without zippers and the boat
comes in two bags, evenly dividing the modest weight. Delivered
with paddle, carrying bags and safety bladders, it is shipped
to your door by UPS unless you specify otherwise.
